Confused between Iranian Rial(IRR) and Toman?

@Iranian official currency is Rial. Banknotes in Iran are being issued in the denomination of Rial. While you find usually the ticket price and bills in Toman. Toman is not official currency but it is only the other way of telling the price of goods and services. The conversion is not really complicated, delete one zero of the amount and then you have the price in Toman. In reverse order, Toman to Rial, just adds one zero at the end of the amount.

Tip: About Toman, be aware that Iranian almost omit “Thousand” Or “Hezar (in Farsi). For example, rather than saying Thirty-five thousand Toman(35000), they simply say Thirty-five Toman.

We highly recommend you to get your Iranian debit gift card to avoid getting into trouble. Payment by Bitcoin is possible.
